Our family-owned towing company has offered tow truck services in the Greenville area since 1999. Our towing capacity includes cars, tractor-trailers, and heavy-duty vehicles throughout South Carolina.

Our emergency towing and roadside assistance services are offered throughout Greater South Carolina, including Greenville, Greer, Spartanburg, Travelers Rest, Anderson, Taylors, and surrounding areas. We have three locations to serve you (Travelers Rest, Taylors, and Williamston). Our tow truck drivers are familiar with all the area’s residential streets and major highways to get to you in a hurry.

Yes. Our advanced towing trucks can assist you wherever you may be stranded. We can get you out of a ditch, off the side of a busy road or major highway, out of a residential driveway, or out of a commercial parking lot or garage. We can come to you with 24-hour roadside assistance wherever you need us!

We’ll need to know your vehicle’s make, model, and year and your exact location when you call us. Describe your situation and let us know how we can help (towing, wrecker service, roadside assistance, etc.). Our dispatchers are trained to respond to all kinds and levels of urgency for roadside emergencies.

The Hawkins Towing team will do our best to fix your problem on the spot with our emergency roadside assistance services. However, if we cannot get you back on the road safely, we’ll either take you home or to a nearby auto repair facility (depending on the time of day or night).

It’s helpful but not always necessary for you to be with your vehicle at the time of towing. As long as you can tell us where to pick up your vehicle and leave the key with it (on top of the tire, in the gas tank cap, etc.), we can take it from there.

The most common types of heavy-duty towing equipment we use are:

• Wheel lifts – These are also called under lifts and attach to a vehicle’s front and back wheels to partially lift them from the road, so the other wheels are at road level for transport.
• Light bars – These are attached to the driver’s window to provide illumination in low-visibility conditions. This helps us see clearly and ensure the safety of people and equipment.
• Chains and hooks – These are used to secure loads and keep the vehicle in place during loading and towing. We may use tow hooks for lighter loads and chains for heavier or more unwieldy loads.
• Winches – Winches, chains, or cables are wrapped around a drum. They are used to lift vehicles from the road and offer tension to ensure the vehicle is stable during transport. They can also be used to lift a vehicle onto a flatbed truck.
• Boom lifts – Boom lifts have a sling at the end to cradle the vehicle as it is moved into the desired position. They allow a wrecker to rotate and remove vehicles from hard-to-reach spots.
